Other softsynths were played live when desired. Not having both feet firmly on the ground, made 'preserving being in tune' a little awkward. The Morley Wah-Pedal was pumped by my left foot. With several loops going, I could then proceed to the theremin, which had 4 pedals daisy-chained Delay, Flange, Distortion, Wah. A click-track keep us in time and also fed the Eurorack modular synths for the creation of a drone and repeated patterns/sequences. DRUM LOOP had an existing beat brought on to create movement and form. Picking a good moment, I loop-recorded a segment of his performance, while he continued to playing along with the ensemble of loops. Michael played the flute, while I influenced the amount of feedback and tempo in real-time. ECHO FX added an interesting layer of feedback. This was looped, leaving me hands-free for the another activity. A dotted 1/4-note delay was dialed in, creating a bass-line pattern as an alternative that I could evoke. 
A SYNTH BASS was fed through Space Designer to create an ethereal pad-like sound. We created 2 different improv sessions using similar instrumentation & systems : Mainstage + Modular Synths + Humans. For the musical goal, to generate a meaningful performance, a performance that had structure, and was attention-span-friendly i.e. It had been quite a number of years since Electric Muse worked on a project, so we decided to meld our technologies (Michael's was modular synth tricks on his Eurorack) with improv as the technical goal. The workspace is a blackbox theatre-like space that can be configured any which way, for even as an improv system. Event changes would be assigned to midi controllers or controllable icons on the MS workspace. LP and MS share AU plugins & synths, so if I chose to use the sounds created for my LP project, I can simply plot what I require for live concert in MS.
